After more than a decade, Alyssa Larkey returns to the Black Hills as Elevate Rapid City’s Employer Engagement Manager. She previously served for 14 years in the Air Force, including five years at Ellsworth Air Force Base, and is excited to be back in the thriving community. Prior to joining the Elevate team, Alyssa worked at the Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce in Montana where she was part of a new workforce development entity called “Central Montana Works.”

In her new role, Alyssa serves as a liaison for businesses connecting employers with resources that support their workforce. Her goal is to retain and attract future talent to the Black Hills.

She is thrilled to be a part of the growth happening in Rapid City.

When she is not at work, Alyssa loves to stay physically active and enjoys immersing herself into the culture of her community including becoming an expert in boutique coffee shops. Alyssa also loves journaling, a practice she started early in her military career and is writing a book about the “different seasons” of her life.
